What started out as a family prank has grown into a hobby with heart behind it. Each creation from Plushie Couture has been saved from a previous life where they were discarded. Oddities have been made from broken + forgotten toy parts. These custom creatures were even rejected by second hand shops due to poor condition. Instead of sending these misunderstood friends to their doom, we were determined to give new life to lost toys. After a detailed sanitation process all of our toys turn into new unique creations bringing a truly rare unboxing experience to you.

Why?

Currently 90 percent of toys sold in today’s market are made from plastic, Most forms of plastic are not biodegradable and unfortunately 80 percent of all toys end up somewhere on a trash heap. Plushie Couture + Mysterious Doll Heads is cutting out the trash and creating fun unboxing experiences in return. 

Who makes these crazy things?

Cincinnati self taught artist who finds creative motivation in abandoned materials. Constructing and crafting began at an early age evolving every year until 2019 when Plushie Couture was born. Specializing in a design process where creating photographs oddities from discarded materials and finding inspiration in what others consider waste. Plushie Couture sees art by turning seemingly random items into a solution.
